Joey Young is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice public accountancy in the State of California. After graduating from San Jose State University in May 2009, he began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young, LLP (EY) in the audit practice, where he served technology and life sciences clients in Silicon Valley. After EY, he worked for various companies in accounting and finance roles of increasing responsibility. Currently, he works as a Director at Connor Group, where he performs consulting services for his clients. 

In addition to his work in accounting, he also performs volunteer work for the American Red Cross, where he assists victims of natural and man-made disasters in the Disaster Services department of the Northern California Coastal Region chapter. He is also a member of the Boulder Creek Community Emergency Response Team ("CERT") of Santa Cruz County, a nonprofit organization which focuses on disaster preparedness and risk mitigation. He holds active certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Wilderness First Aid.
